State Capitols

The House of Government in any given state. The location where bureaucrats decide the way a state will take form and react to the changes and needs of society within its boundaries. But, beyond all that, they are commonly a place of amazing architecture, history, and art. Here we will catalogue our experiences at the different State Capitols that we get the opportunity to visit and share with you what we see and learn.

There are many unexpected items you might find at a state capitol. For instance, did you know that there are 57 replicas of The Liberty Bell? Most of which can be found at each statehouse around the country. You will also find paintings on the ceilings of prominent offices, paintings of former governors and other famous contributors to American history, and paintings or sculptures of Greek and Roman gods and figures. There are many different sources of inspiration used to create these prominent buildings in each state.

We also like to ask silly questions when taking tours, just to test the guides resolve.
